Patrick H. Harmon, MD, MDiv, DMin
Dr. Harmon is board-certified in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Prior to starting Providence Family Psychiatry, he was the Residency Program Director, and then vice-chairman of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine.
He completed his post-baccalaureate pre-medical studies at Harvard University and then received his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed the general psychiatry residency, and the child and adolescent fellowship at Wake Forest, where he served as both chief resident and chief fellow.
Prior to his career in medicine, Dr. Harmon was a pastor in the Presbyterian Church for over a decade. He earned a Master's in Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
He enjoys working with both children and adults, and is passionate about helping his patients find balance in the biological, psychological, and spiritual aspects of life.
